Nick Rodriguez said Marquez told him he received $5,000 to $10,000 for marrying the woman who is the sister of Farook's brother's wife.
Rodriguez claimed Marquez walked through Morgan's Tavern in Riverside saying, "Hey I got married today."
When Rodriguez asked Marquez about the marriage, he said Marquez stated he didn't even live with the woman.
Marquez, 24, purchased high-powered rifles at least three years ago that San Bernardino terror shooters Farook and Tashfeen Malik used in the Dec. 2 attack.

The couple killed 14 people during a holiday gathering at the Inland Regional Center.
Farook and Malik were killed hours later in a gun fight with police less than a mile away from the center.
The couple left behind a 6-month-old daughter.
Marquez married a Russian woman named Mariya, whose sister is married to Farook's older brother, in November 2014.
But officials said there is little evidence that Marquez and his wife acted like a couple.
Authorities believe the marriage was faked in an attempt to help the woman stay in the U.S.

GUN BUYER WAS RELATIVE BY MARRIAGE
Marquez, 24, a former security guard and longtime friend of Syed Rizwan Farook, legally bought the assault rifles used in the rampage, but police have not revealed how they got in the hands of the two shooters.
Investigators are also looking into whether Marquez and Farook planned — and then aborted — an attack in 2012.
Marquez became a Farook family member when he married Tatiana Farook’s sister, Mariya Chernykh, 25, last year, according to Riverside County records.
Raheel and Tatiana Farook were witnesses at the ceremony.
He and Raheel Farook are now brothers-in-law.
The Russian sisters both came to the U.S. on visas for work or student exchanges.
Marquez’s security license expired last year and he was recently fired from a job at Wal-Mart.
He checked into a mental health facility after the shootings and has been interviewed by federal authorities. He has not been charged with any crime.
FAMILY OF SAN BERNARDINO SHOOTERS
WHERE THEY LIVED: Suspects Syed Rizwan Farook, 28, and his wife, Tashfeen Malik, 29, lived with their 6-month-old daughter and his mother in a town house they rented in Redlands, a city neighboring San Bernardino. His mother, Rafia Sultana Farook, apparently moved in with him after selling the family’s house in Riverside earlier this year for $290,000, according to public records. Rafia Farook and her husband were divorced this year and she had been living in the house alone, according to the real estate agent who sold the house in June. She said she planned to move in with a son to be closer to family and a mosque in nearby Corona, Linda Holmes said.
PARENTS OF THE GUNMAN: Syed Farook, 66, and Rafia Farook, 62, were married on New Year’s Day in 1982, according to court records. He was born in Pakistan and she was born in India. Syed Farook had been a truck driver and she worked since 2003 in the billing department of Kaiser Permanente. The couple had four children — two girls and two boys. Efforts to reach family members for comment at their homes and by phone have been unsuccessful.
PROBLEMS AT HOME: Rafia Farook first filed for divorce in 2006, citing irreconcilable differences and accusing her husband of being an abusive alcoholic. She said he attacked her in front of their children, dropped a TV on her and pushed her toward a car, according to divorce records. She said a daughter intervened to save her. The case was eventually dissolved and she filed for divorce again in 2008 and again in 2012. She also filed for restraining orders several times. In her final divorce filing, she listed Valentine’s day last year as the date of separation. A judge approved the split this year.
PARENTS OF THE FEMALE SHOOTER: Malik was from the Pakistan town of Karor Lal Esan, 280 miles southwest of capital of Islamabad. She traveled to Saudi Arabia twice to visit family. Her father, Gulzar Ahmed Malik, who has been a resident in the kingdom since the early 1980s, the Saudi Interior Ministry said. The father works as an engineer, as do his two sons, according to a Pakistani counterterrorism official who spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to talk to the press. Gulzar Ahmed Malik, reached in Jiddah, Saudi Arabia, condemned his daughter’s actions and said he is “very, very sad. ... I am in such pain that I cannot even describe it.”.......................................

Friends and family of the terrorist killers, Syed Rizwan Farook and Tashfeen Malik, remain under intense scrutiny by the FBI and international authorities.
When asked about the brother of the shooter, who served in the military and lives in Corona, Bahghani said that Raheel Farook, 30, a NAVY veteran and his wife, Tatiyana, “do not attend their center….We would remember a tall, white Russian woman.”
Fox has reviewed Facebook pages of Tatiyana that stated she was from Voronezh, Russia.
Marquez, 24, married 25-yearold Mariya Chernykh, the sister of Tatiyana, on November 29, 2014 and lists his married address as the same property owned by the shooter’s 30-year-old brother, Raheel Farook.
Fox News confirmed that the Corona police were called to the residence on Forum Way on Dec. 5 to investigate “an allegation of domestic violence against Raheel Farook.”
It appears to be an arranged marriage, or a possible abuse of the visa system, because local sources, who asked not to be identified, and media outlets report that Enrique Marquez’s wife now lives with another man. Marquez went to high school with Syed and lived next door to the Farook family in Riverside, Calif. Described to Fox as “close friends, the two enjoyed working on cars together.
According to the Los Angeles Times, both sisters came to the United States separately on J-1 visas, which allow foreign individuals to enter for work-study cultural exchange programs.
The shooter’s mother, 62-year-old Rafia Farook, is also under scrutiny by authorities. As first reported by Fox, Rafia, who worked for Kaiser Permanente, described herself as a “biller” in documents filed with the county during divorce proceedings against her husband, but failed to mention that her terrorist son and his terrorist wife were both living with her in a small townhouse in Redlands, California...........
